Roots
A long way from home
Born in Nigeria. Got to Texas the long way, through a study-abroad stop in Indiana. There are two flags in his Instagram bio, and he reps both.
The Street
Four hours, fifty dollars
His first street session was four hours long and made fifty dollars. He kept setting up. Now it's Houston corners and the Galveston art walks, one canvas for eight or ten hours, painted in front of whoever stops. He's caught tickets for selling on the sidewalk. He still sells on the sidewalk.

The Degree
Extra credit that took over
His first art class was senior year of college, for extra credit. He still finished the computer science degree. By early 2022 he was painting full time.
The People
The shirt off his back
A collector once got a painting for way less than it was worth. The same guy would hand Ooowwee the shirt off his back today.
The Chain
The Patrick Star chain
There's a Patrick Star chain around his neck at every session. DREAM BIG hangs off it. The wobbly gold star on this site is our own hand-drawn one.
Always laughing
The car is a canvas too
